 nergy systems with a high share of renewable energy and flexibility option
 s can work\, addressing key challenges for market design\, infrastructure 
 development\, and balancing supply and demand. Key questions include how m
 arket design needs to be adapted to accommodate renewable energy sources\,
  what market structures best support flexible energy systems\, and how dem
 and-side responses can be incentivized to balance loads. Infrastructure de
 velopment is essential for increased renewable generation\, depending on s
 imultaneous transmission- and distribution grid as well as renewables exte
 nsion. Discussions will also explore how regulatory frameworks can acceler
 ate the deployment of renewables and drive innovation in energy technologi
 es\, including smart grid solutions. Beyond electricity\, district heating
  networks and alternative carriers like hydrogen are gaining importance. T
 hese systems provide essential flexibility through storage capabilities wh
 ile facilitating sector coupling to achieve a fully decarbonized energy sy
