 he jubilee edition of ENERDAY explored both the achievements of more than 
 20 years of dedicated research in energy economics and the continuing need
  for action\, with fewer than 20 years remaining to achieve the ambitious 
 target of climate neutrality in 2045. Key questions include: How can the e
 nergy sector ensure a reliable and affordable supply while integrating a h
 igh share of renewable energy sources? How can electrification further exp
 and the use of renewable energy sources and replace fossil molecules? What
  are competitive solutions for the heat transition and the decarbonization
  of buildings? How can sustainable mobility be promoted and the challenges
  in the transport sector addressed? What measures can drive the transforma
 tion of the industrial sector towards greater sustainability and innovatio
 n? Discussions will also examine how energy markets can accelerate a susta
 inable energy transition and drive innovations in energy technologies\, in
